Dear
Friend,
Though the
eternal
universe doesn’t observe a new
year, we do. Something about a new year opens the
possibilities that we can release something old and
manifest something new. There is often a feeling of
an open door when the New Year comes. I have a
calendar on my desk, and the first page for
December 31/Jan 1 has a Chinese
proverb: “Everything in the past died yesterday;
everything in the future was born today.” Is it
possible that we can wipe the slate clean like that?
Even though we carry our deepest tendencies,
karmas, recurrent thoughts and patterns into the
next moments (and into the “now”), it is possible to
become more free. That’s what we’re all working on.
If we continue to be determined to move forward as
well as to “be here now,” we’ll move beyond the past
and open to the new. The more focused,
encouraged and affirmative we can be, the more we
can know the spiritual energy available to uplift us at
this time of year.

Two New Teachers in Our Certification Training
Seth-Deborah Roth and Geralynn Lion
will bring their
knowledge and charisma to our program. Read about

about Geralynn.
Seth-Deborah Roth, CRNA, CHT will teach the
Medical Hypnotherapy segment of our training. She
has had many years of experience in the medical field
as a Nurse Anesthetist. She is a graduate of our
training, and after graduation, she
received masters certifications in NLP and Reiki, and
she became a practitioner in Time Line Therapy and
HypnoBirthing. She has also been certified with
special training in Pain Control, Cancer Hypnosis,
Medical Hypnosis, Pediatric Hypnosis, Habit Control
and Weight Loss. Her practice "Hypnotherapy for
Health" is located in both Castro Valley and
Pleasanton, California where she specializes in
Medical Hypnosis. She has been a speaker at
conferences and on the radio. She produces hypnosis
CDs and specializes in customizing CDs for different
medical issues or surgical procedures. For more
